    WASHINGTON, DC (National Parking Association) September 29, 2015 After two days of competition on September 2 and 3, the National Parking Association (NPA) crowned AmeriPark’s Katie Richards as the nation’s Best Valet. The team from AmeriPark also came in first overall. The Atlanta-based valet and self-parking company took home the Herb Citrin Trophy, named for the late “father of valet parking” and the founder/owner of Valet Parking Service.     Shoppers at Simon malls across the country who chose to valet park their vehicles this past holiday season helped put the charitable efforts of AmeriPark, a full-service parking company, in overdrive.     It takes $1,000 to get a Simon Youth Academy student to graduation. At a reception at Shula’s Steakhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. on Thursday, March 28, Chip Patterson, the CEO of AmeriPark, one of the country’s leading parking management companies, presented a check big enough to give 43 more students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma.
